Perfect Pout: DIY Lip Scrub

❤️ By Jenn Shin

Whether it’s a summer heatwave or harsh winter winds, chapped lips can be painful and are never a good look. Maximize the impact of your lip products (especially matte lipstick!) by applying an easy lip scrub. This DIY is done in minutes and gets rid of flakes on dry lips for a baby-smooth pout…

What You’ll Need:

diylipscrub1

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon water

What You’ll Do:

Mix coconut oil and honey together. If your coconut oil is solid, pop it in the microwave for five seconds to soften.

What You’ll Do:

Slide your bobby pins onto the cardboard and paint them with nail polish. (We did two coats.) While those dry, find your pasta letters so they’re ready to go.

Add a small amount of glue to the back of each letter and apply the alphabet pasta with tweezers. Brush the letters with a thin coat of polish and touch up any spots on the pin.

Let everything set for a few hours… And that’s it! As Ina would say, how easy was that?
