Love Nicki Minaj’s Leggings? We’ve Got the Look (for Less!)

If you’ve ever hung around the GoJane blog, you know that we have a Nicki Minaj addiction, especially when it comes to her style.  And our love of all things Nicki was only confirmed when we saw the above picture. Everything, from the platinum locks to the platforms, was fierce, but what really got us talking was the leggings. Maybe it’s because we have a nearly identical pair? The only difference between our pair and Nicki’s? Oh, about $300.

If you wanna snag these bad boys before they’re all gone, click here.

Sneak Peek: New Shoes

Chances are you’ve seen some of your favorite celebrities, including Kristen Stewart, Beyoncé, and Demi Lovato, strutting their stuff in clear cap toe stilettos. Today, between sips of soy lattes and styling models, we spied several brightly hued pairs of clear cap toe heels and we may or may not have begun hyperventilating (hint: we totally did). By the way, we think you’ll begin getting all sorts of excited too, once you see ’em. So, take a look and make sure to let us know what you think.

These stilettos should be on the site within the next few days, but until then, feel free to satisfy your shoe lust with some of our other fresh kicks.

HBO’s “Girls”: Real Fashion for Real Girls

Despite the fact that it’s an election year, the GoJane office has consistently been buzzing with talk of one topic: HBO’s Girls. We think it’s a testament to Lena Dunham’s genius that she’s managed to captivate our collective attention with her very real portrayal of twentysomethings struggling with a sluggish economy, complicated friendships, and of course, the requisite boy issues. But, this anti-Sex and the City hit has struck a chord for reasons not related to frank discussion of relationships and post-college ennui. Specifically, the clothing choices of Hannah and Co. are aspirational, yet decidedly relatable. As such, we’re taking a look at the women of Girls in order to offer some serious style inspiration. Oh, and we made sure to pull together a look based on the show.

Style Crush: Iggy Azalea

One of our fave new music (soon-to-be) superstars is Iggy Azalea. This Australian rapper looks like Grace Kelly, but her lyrics are so raw they’d make Ol’ Dirty Bastard blush. Plus, not only do we love her unique sense of style, but we are definitely feeling her in your face ‘tude. To celebrate Azalea’s upcoming album, The New Classic, as well as the fact that she  is awesome, we’re offering you a post dedicated to all things Iggy, including some images that totally got the Instagram treatment- enjoy! Oh, and finally, our stylist even pulled together an Iggy Azalea-inspired look.

Style Crush: Ashley Madekwe

We have totally been style crushing on actress Ashley Madekwe lately, and lucky for us, she has her very own style blog where we were able to stalk check out all her amazing outfits. The UK native has been acting for a while, but has recently blown up thanks to ABC’s hit show Revenge. Her eclectic sense of style is sometimes feminine, sometimes edgy, and always gorgeous. We love her incredible ability to mix designer pieces with vintage and cheaper items to achieve flawless looks that can easily stand the test of time. Madekwe is a genius when it comes to pairing accessories, but let’s face it – her gorgeous head of wavy hair is the only accessory she really needs.

Click here to see more of Ashley Madekwe’s looks and our GoJane version.

Luxe for Less: Kirsten Dunst

Kirsten Dunst has been on our pop culture radar for decades thanks to her portrayal of a juvenile vampire in Interview with the Vampire, as well as starring roles in Bring It On and Spider-Man. We’ve always been a fan of Dust as a result of her insistence on not conforming to Hollywood standards of beauty, as well as her unique sense of style, but lately this indie darling has taken bold risks we’re definitely obsessing over. Earlier this year, when we saw her in a Chloe jacket, a Dolce & Gabbana frock and shoes, and jewelry courtesy of Van Cleef and Arpels, we knew we had to recreate the look, without the designer price tag, of course. Her version runs in the thousands, but ours comes in at a very modest $161.

(collarless jacket, pleated sweetheart bodice dress, perforated contrast clutch, chain link hinge bracelet, skull ring snake clutch, and floral peep-toe wedges)

What did you think of Dunst’s look? What other celebs would you like to see get the Luxe for Less treatment?

MTV Movie Awards: A Recap of the Looks That Got Us Talking

If you didn’t have the chance to watch last night’s MTV Movie Awards, let us offer you a quick recap: people still really love Twilight, Kardashian jokes never grow old, and Charlie Sheen was in attendance. Unfortunately, we weren’t privy to some Kanye West-inspired shenanigans, but we did have the chance to see some of our fave celebs rock looks that will keep us talking for days. Of course, there were a flew flops and WTFs, but there were also tons of ensembles we can’t wait to try at home. So, without further ado, here are the good, the bad, and the hmmms of this year’s MTV Movie Awards.

The Good

Emma Stone, Charlize Theron, and Shailene Woodley

We are unabashed fans of peplums, and we suspect that our adoration is responsible for the serious swooning we did after seeing these three ladies rocking our go-to shape in new and unexpected ways.

Victoria Justice, Lucy Hale, and Kristen Stewart

All three of these lovely lasses picked bright hues that flattered their skin tone, as well as hightlighted their feminine figure.

Of course, not every look was a slam dunk…

Luxe for Less: Cassie

The Cannes International Film Festival may not seem like the obvious place to indulge in a bit of musical celebrity spotting. But, as pictures from the festival have trickled in, we kept noticing one woman: Cassie. This R&B songstress has continually impressed us, but the look we were definitely drooling over was her Salvatore Ferragamo jumpsuit and Givenchy kicks. Granted, at over $3,000 dollars, we knew we could never afford such a get-up and as such, got to creating our own. The result? A printed jumpsuit ensemble for a just over $105.

(leopard print sunglasses, colorful abstract jumpsuit, woven bangle set, studded handbag, and strappy low wedge sandal)

Fashion Face-Off: Vintage Graphic Band Tees’ Edition

We’re unapologetically girly at GoJane, but sometimes you’re feeling more gutter punk than glamazon. If that’s the case, try slipping on a comfortable and slouchy graphic band tee for a cool look that can take you from the class to the rock ‘n roll club. We recently saw two of our favorite ladies, Ashley Madekwe and Kristen Stewart, wearing vintage music tees and we knew it was time for another fashion face-off. So, take a look and vote in our poll for your fave.

Luxe for Less: Nikki Reed

Nikki Reed emerged into the national entertainment consciousness in 2003 as a troubled adolescent in the gritty film Thirteen. But, she didn’t achieve super star levels until she portrayed Rosalie Hale, vampire extraordinaire,  in Twilight. As Reed’s popularity has shot up so has her sense of style. Often spotted in boho chic looks, Reed epitomizes cool and casual. Recently, this gorgeous brunette was spotted in a flirty Keepsake frock and Michael Kors’ platforms. The look was undeniably chic, but we can’t quite justify spending $200 dollars on a pair of metallic heels. As such, we decided to recreate Nikki’s look, but with a few delicious twists; our version is a completely gorg coral because the color is über hot right now. Plus, we chose woven, vegan leather sandals because we thought metallic straps might be a tad too overpowering. Total cost for our version? Less than $95.

(lace-up back dress, snake print bangle set, pyramid studded dome ring, and strappy textured leatherette platform)

Trend Report: The Return of Round Sunglasses

The temperature continues to rise and we continue to shed valuable layers in efforts to not completely roast. But, there is one delicious thing we get to add to our ensembles and we have a justifiable excuse for doing so: sunglasses. After all, a pair of sunnies is necessary for optimum ocular health, right? Right. But, you can’t just slip on the dusty frames you found underneath your bed- this season’s hottest shape is round. We’ve seen some of our fave style stars, including Nicki Minaj and model Abbey Lee Kershaw, rock these John Lennon-inspired shades, but we’re now bringing the look to you with this awesome photo gallery showing all the ways you can get round.

Luxe for Less: Rita Ora

A few weeks ago, as we were doing our daily gossip blog stroll, we came upon British sensation Rita Ora. With her platinum blond locks, sultry voice, and fun sense of style, we knew we had to try out a Luxe for Less look based on this soon-to-be superstar. The result? For less than $140 you can have this sexy and edgy Kim West ensemble Rita was recently spotted wearing.

(textured disc bead necklace, liquid finish dress, rhinestone inset watch, link bracelet, embellished cross ring, threaded friendship bracelet, and lace-up leatherette platform)

Luxe for Less: Nicki Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap” (Part II)

Love Nicki Minaj’s leopard jumpsuit from her “Beez in the Trap” video? Not a surprise: Nicki was wearing GoJane and she looked all sorts of amazing. We previously sold out of this hot lil’ number, but we just got a new order in! So, if you wanna get Nicki’s ‘suit click here and get ready to look like a real diva.

Are you gonna snag this hot jumpsuit? Do you already have it?

Luxe for Less: Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens has been engaging in all the tell-tale behavior of former Disney stars- she’s had a photo scandal, been accused of engaging in recreational substances, and linked with a fellow celebrity hottie. Of course, just like any other young star, Vanessa is often spotted in designer goods and she seems to have a penchant for all things Giuseppe Zanotti. Fortunately, we managed to recreate one of Vanessa’s casual looks, but we did so for less than $150.

(from top to bottom: long sleeve button-up denim top, threaded friendship bracelets, embellished bangle quartet, stone swirl cuff bracelet, cuffed denim shorts, studded star front fringe purse,  and leatherette cowgirl boot)

The 2012 Met Gala: A Recap of the Looks That Got Us All Talking

It’s been a busy week for fashion; on Sunday we saw stylish gals rock hats that could potentially pull double duty as spaceships for the Kentucky Derby and last night was the 2012 Met Gala. Often referred to as “the Oscars of fashion”, the Met Gala is a chance to show off your chicest couture and rub elbows with some of fashion’s biggest stars, including Anna Wintour, Zac Posen, and Miuccia Prada. We’ve assembled some of our fave trends and looks, including the ones that made us clap our hands in joy, the ones that left us scratching our pampered coifs, and even a few that we’re still trying to figure out. Oh, and make sure to scroll all the way down to get a 360° view of Beyonce’s daring Givenchy gown.

Luxe for Less: Jennifer Lawrence

It’s not exactly shocking that we love us some Jennifer Lawrence, but our love for all things The Girl on Fire was solidified when we saw how she handled her sudden rise to stardom. Specifically, despite the fact that she has an enviable bod and a face to melt even the coldest of hearts, she still seems all sorts of accessible, as does her style. We recently saw this Kentucky native leaving the airport and were blown away by her casually elegant ensemble. After all, it takes a special sort of girl to look chic after being holed up on an airplane for hours, right? We knew we had to recreate this look, but our version won’t cost nearly as much as Lawrence’s. Why? Well, she was rocking some seriously pricey lace-up oxfords courtesy of Lanvin at the tune of $1,200 a  pop. Fortunately, our nearly identical look will cost you a mere $150.

1. contrast frame sunglasses
2. rhinestone bow skull necklace
3. solid tuxedo blazer
4. striped bustier tube top
5. convertible leatherette backpack
6. basic five pocket skinny jeans
7. braided strappy platform

Celebrities + Street Style Bloggers Show You How to Wear Colored Jeans

Blue jeans are an American staple, but sometimes this tried and true wardrobe essential needs a dramatic makeover. The best way to do this? A bold hue, such as…

Red(Shenae Grimes, Amanda Seyfried, and Kate Middleton)

Purple(Nicky Hilton, Rachel Bilson, and Camilla Alves)

Turquoise(Drew Barrymore, Fearne Cotton, and Victoria Beckham)

However, it’s not just celebrities who are daring to slip on brightly hued bottoms. In fact, some of our fave snaps are from street style bloggers because they show us that you don’t have to be a star to look like one.

Do you own any brightly colored bottoms? What’s your fave way to style ’em?

Luxe for Less: La La Vazquez

La La Vazquez became a public figure during her tenor on the pop culture punch Total Request Live. Once the show went off the air La La continued to permeate the public consciousness by hosting several VH1 shows, including Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Charm School. Plus, her high-profile friendship with Kim Kardashian doesn’t hurt her popularity. But, you know what else this New York beauty is known for? Her cool and chic urban style. We recreated a recent look of this reality television diva at a charity event, but there is one startling difference: our entire look cost less than $150 whereas La La spent at least $900 on those sparkly Louboutins.

1. chain link teardrop earrings
2. flyaway cropped cardigan
3. jersey bodysuit
4. beaded spring bracelet
5. aztec print mini skirt
6. microstud embellished pump

Fashion Term of the Week: Mullet Hem

Chances are you’ve seen our models prancing around the front page in daring dresses that expose a lot of shin, but keep the calf hidden. But, did you know that this fashionable silhouette has an actual name? It’s known as the mullet hem or the high-low hem.  So, what are the characteristics of this cool cut? It’s pretty simple: all business in the front and party in the back.

This look has been threatening to take over for awhile now, but it’s now reached the point where you won’t get completely eviscerated if you decide to don this silhouette for school or work. Of course,  your mom may ask in tones of disgust, “What the hell is that?” (ed. note: My mom did!), but you’re also sure to get a few nods of approval.

Our fave way to try out the mullet hem? Slip on a sinfully soft short sleeve high-low tee, add leggings, slide on your fave pair of slouchy leatherette boots, and oh yeah, make sure you find plenty of cool girl accessories.

1. high-low sheer back top
2. skull charm thread bracelet
3. link bracelet
4. stone stretch ring
5. tasseled cut-out charm necklace
6. stone square shape ring
7. jewel stretch bracelet
8. oversized embroidered flower booties
9. skinny jeans

Are you a fan of this look? Why or why not?

PS: Plus, make sure to tell us if there are any other fashion terms you’re confused about and we’ll totally help you out!

Luxe for Less: Nicki Minaj in “Beez in the Trap”

(Note: The video contains explicit lyrics and adult imagery)

Between the trippy beat and all that booty, you may have missed some of  the sick fashion in Nicki Minaj’s latest vid, “Beez in the Trap.” While we don’t like to play favorites, we couldn’t help but feel particularly proud when we saw the Harajuka Barbie shaking her derriere in our elastic band leopard jumpsuit. Don’t believe us?

What about now? Admittedly, our model doesn’t have quite as much badonkadonk as ol’ Nicki, but we still think she looks pretty damn good. By the way, if you want to get Nicki’s look we have just a few of these jumpsuits left.

If you like this look, but don’t think you can  commit to such a daring piece, try one of the three options below.

1. zebra cut-out sleeve jumpsuit
2. cut-out jumpsuit
3. elastic band cut-out jumpsuit

Do you guys think you could work this look? Where would you rock it?

The Best of Coachella Fashion: Weekend One

Didn’t manage to get your pedicured paws on tickets for the highly anticipated Coachella festival? We’re not terribly surprised because the tickets sold out almost immediately for both weekends. However, just because you couldn’t be there in person to watch Tupac’s hologram performance doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to experience some of the fashionable fun of this mega event. Below are some of our fave looks from Coachella and oh yeah, make sure to tell us which ones you’re loving.

What was your fave look? Also, did you see that Katy Perry was holding a cigarette while showing off her assets in that lovely semi-sheer printed dress? We must admit that we didn’t expect that from the “Part of Me” songstress.

By the way, if you managed to get a hold of tickets for next week’s shows check out some of our must-have pieces for festival fun. In fact, these pieces are so cool you can wear ’em at non-musical festival events.

1. cross necklace
2. tribal print high-low maxi dress
3. bow trim panama hat
4. ankle wrap thong sandal

Did you go to Coachella? Are you planning to go to next weekend? Did you see any other super cool outfits you have been obsessing over?

Luxe for Less: Rihanna’s Modern Pin Up Look

During our daily gossip blog stroll we saw an outfit so undeniably perfect for GoJane we were forced to put down our latte and take a deep breath. The source of our joy? Rihanna. Of course our loyal readers already know we’re a fan of RiRi’s style, but this particular ensemble combined some of our fave things and we genuinely couldn’t wait to assemble a copycat of this casual, yet sexy, look. Oh, we should mention one major difference: Rihanna’s ensemble cost over $2,500, thanks to the Miu Miu heels, Chanel scarf, and Vlieger & Vandam bag, while ours will run you less than $115.

1. heart print scarf
2. low scoop neck top
3. origami bird charm necklace
4. destroyed cuff shorts
5. rhinestone trim watch
6. perforated trim clutch
7. pocketed denim shirt
8. polka dot peep-toe heel

What did you guys think of this look? Is it something you would wear out? Rihanna happened to wear this after dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Malibu, but we definitely see this look working for a casual date in the park or brunch with your girls.

How to: Wear This Season’s Hottest Trend (Neon + Neutral)

Neon has always been something we’ve kinda sorta been in love with, but the look can seem inaccessible to some ’cause it’s so… well, bright. If you’re scared of trying out neon we have discovered the chicest and most stylish way to don neon: pair a bright hue with an understated neutral. The effect? Delightfully glamorous. In order to show you how to do this look we found looks from our fave style bloggers and we know that after viewing this gallery you’ll quickly find yourself eager to snag some neon, stat.

Fashion Face-Off: Cropped Tops’ Edition

Watching late night reruns of Friends has taught us many things, but perhaps the most important lesson we’ve learned involves one of our fave things: fashion. Namely, cropped tops are freaking adorable and will always look good, regardless of if it’s 1992 or 2012.  So, in celebration of all things cropped we’re giving you a fierce fashion face-off and you have to choose your fave celebrity in the battle of the cropped top.

Katy Perry vs. Selena Gomez

After seeing these two beauties in their cropped tops we knew we had to get in on the trend. One of our trendy stylists picked three tops she knows you’ll love and to show our appreciation of the Kids’ Choice Awards’ orange carpet she picked three tops of a similar shade.

1. woven bralette
2. cropped crochet top
3. ponte cropped top

What’s your fave way to wear cropped tops?

Luxe for Less: Keke Palmer

Don’t immediately recognize the name Keke Palmer? Here’s a quick and dirty bio: she starred in Akeelah and the Bee, was one of the highest paid child stars on television, and has even put her gorgeous mug on a fashion line.  Recently we were asked to create a Keke inspired look, but we couldn’t quite figure out which of her many ensembles to emulate. We eventually decided on this winner because it’s cute, simple, and can totally be broken up to be worn with other outfits. Oh, and did we mention that our version costs less than $75?

1. venice neck patch ponti dress
2. pearl stretch bracelet

3. chunky platform heel

Why it works: Keke’s dress included a dropped waist, but we decided to go with a more flattering body con fit. However, we kept the same girly vibe of Keke’s frock by incorporating lace, as well as outfitting our model in pink vegan suede heels and a delightfully gorgeous faux-pearl bracelet.

GoJane Featured on “Today”… Three Different Times!

This morning, between sips of tepid coffee and the exchange of weekend plans, we saw a pair of GoJane heels flash across the screen. Shaking our head we told ourselves that the early hour was messing with our sight, but then we saw something that we couldn’t possibly attribute to sleep deprivation: our name in flashing lights colorful and bold print on Today. Yes, a pair of our wedges had sashayed onto national television, but that wasn’t our sole brush with fame. Why? ‘Cause yet another ensemble featured our shoes.  Yes, in less than five minutes, America had thrice been exposed to GoJane. And we know that after seeing such fabulous footwear you probably wanna get your pedicured paws on them right now and who are we to deprive you of such pleasures?

The first pair we saw were on the editor of Life & Style. We recognized the flash of teal and coral because several of our stylists and writers own these very sexy cut-out suede peep toe pumps. In fact, these shoes appeared to be so popular with the Today crew that they were featured again in one of the outfits.

The second pair was a pair of wedge espadrilles that everyone has been salivating over.

So, in summation, GoJane is all sorts of famous and we have the approval of one of our fave glossies when it comes to fashionable footwear.

Ladies in Lace: Street Style Takes On One of Spring’s Biggest Trends

March brings us many things, including madness and leprechauns, but it is the end of this month that makes us realize spring is truly in the air. And we could celebrate the assurance of warmer weather with florals and shorter hemlines, but we thought of an even better way to usher in the spring equinox: lace. And sure, we’ve previously covered how your fave starlets rock this flirty fabric, but today’s post is extra special ’cause we rounded up tons of street style snaps, from all corners of the globe, featuring gorgeous gals in lace, including a pic or two of a sexy lace manicure.  So, take a look and make sure to let us know which one you’re seriously lusting over.

Hips Don’t Lie: Our Favorite Shape for Spring 2012

Remember the insanity that followed after we unveiled this lovely lace peplum dress? In case you don’t recall, here’s the original dress:

Unfortunately, this pretty little frock sold out immediately and hundreds of girls bombarded us with pleas begging us to restock this sheath. Fortunately, we brought it back and additionally,  ordered it in a brand new pairing (rose peach), as well as the  classic ivory mint color scheme you fell in love with. What’s your favorite shade?

By the way, in case you haven’t noticed, peplums are all sorts of huge. The Fall 2012 runways gave us numerous trends, but the one that we noticed was the return of this ladylike silhouette.

What do you think of peplums? Is this a trend you’ve already embraced or are you still unsure? What other looks are you loving right now?

Three Looks Inspired by The Hunger Games

With an opening weekend of $155 million, we’re going to assume you probably saw The Hunger Games. Between all the brutal murder and commentary on a culture of entertainment at any cost, there was something else that made us squeal in delight and clap our hands excitedly: the fashion.

Throughout the  movie we’re confronted with protagonist Katniss Everdeen’s ever shifting take on style. In the beginning, armed with a bow and arrow, she races through the woods clad in leather riding boots and a fitted jacket. However, upon heading over to the capitol to participate in the Hunger Games she is given a makeover by the eternally cool Cinna, as played by Lenny Kravitz. When he outfits her in a costume of fire she quickly becomes The Girl On Fire and it is this notoriety which allows her to score lifesaving sponsorships during the Games. In fact, The Hunger Games is not only a story dedicated to the terrifying possibility of Orwellian surveillance or a political lust for blood. Instead, The Hunger Games focuses on the fact that clothes can very much make the man… er, woman.   In celebration of all things District 12 and Mockingjay, here are three looks inspired by Katniss Everdeen.

Look 1: The Huntress

1. leatherette hooded long sleeve jacket
2. dangling bird earrings
3. scoop neck tank
4. solid color skinny pants
5. double buckle leatherette riding boot

Why it works: In order to hunt Katniss needs to blend in with her surroundings, stay warm, and have plenty of movement. In the book, as well as the movie, we see her rocking plenty of muted neutrals, mainly black and brown.

Look 2: The Girl on Fire

1. cut-out stone inset earrings
2. cross over tank maxi dress
3. spiked stretch ring
4. metallic rhinestone jewel t-strap heel

Why it works: Katniss may be fighting to the death, but before she enters the arena she has to give a televised  interview to the country of Panem. The purpose of this interview? To gain sponsors for food, medicine, and weapons. While Katniss isn’t your stereotypically girly girl, she does clean up pretty nicely in a coral hued dress and accessories meant to re-enforce the idea that she is very much on fire.

Look 3: The Winner of the Hunger Games

1. mega shine lip gloss
2. shimmery mineral powder
3. chiffon cut-out back dress
4. threaded chain link bracelet
5. metallic t-strap sandal

Why it works: After winning the brutal Hunger Games Katniss, along with her partner from her home district, Peeta,  give another televised interview to celebrate their victory. Despite the fact that she had to slay several contestants for this dubious honor, Katniss’ stylist decks her out in an innocent frock and flats, as well as just a hint of makeup, to show the nation that she is still very much a child.

Did you see see the The Hunger Games this weekend? What did you think of the film’s looks?

How To: Wear a Bodysuit

We often see our fave celebrities strutting on stage in revealing bodysuits, but this look, along with teased wigs, armadillo heels, and triple layers of pantyhose, isn’t necessarily accessible to mere mortals. Above you’ll note that these divas look stunning, but not many of us have the body or the daring to rock a slinky bodysuit with little else. However, after poring over thousands of images on the ‘net we discovered that yes, you can wear a bodysuit and it can be an incredibly chic update to any look. Below you’ll see some of our fave ways to get bodied (yes, that was a Beyoncé reference) and oh yeah, make sure to show and tell us how YOU rock a bodysuit.

Photos courtesy of Pintrest, We Heart It, Chictopia, and  Tumblr

After extensively studying these images we have come to the conclusion that the trick to wearing a bodysuit is to use it as a quirky layering piece. As an added bonus, the perfect bodysuit will slim you down because it goes underneath your stylin’ skirt or pants.

Inspiration Gallery: Tights with Shorts

Anxious to wear shorts, but concerned about frostbite? Sure, you could stay inside and stage your own personal runway show, but we have a more practical solution: shorts with tights. Below you’ll find a few looks from stylish gals from all over the ‘net showing us how to don this sexy and stylish look. Oh, and if the weather is particularly temperamental, let us pass along a tip we’ve seen several fashionable females indulge in: add thickly knitted socks and boots to the trusty tights and shorts combo.

Okay, so you’re probably officially in serious lust with this look, but don’t where to start, right? Our solution?  Opaque tights. We particularly love the fact that they’ll add some much needed warmth to your ensemble and visually slim you down.

What other trends are you obsessing over? Any trends you just don’t get? By the way, we were thinking of doing a style gallery devoted exclusively about GoJane girls. What do you think?

Celebrities Really Love Their… Ankle Strap Heels!

Yet, 2012 appears to be ushering in a new trend: ankle straps. These Forties’-inspired heels offer a certain ladylike glamour to any ensemble and as the gallery of celebs below shows, stars love their ankle strap heels.

If you’re looking to jump on this trend, but aren’t sure of where to find the perfect pair of heels, look below because we found a few pairs we’re in serious lust with. Just click on the shoe and voila! you could soon be rocking these seriously trendy heels.

Sure, you can keep it classic and rock a brightly hued lace dress, but we are also loving all the different ways you can look hot and styling in lace, including shoes and shirts.  If you’re in need of inspiration take a look at our celeb gallery and oh yeah, make sure to tell us how YOU wear lace.
