How to: Dress for Memorial Day

Regardless of if you choose a good ol’ fashioned BBQ, a night out with the girls, or a day at the beach, we have the perfect outfit for your Memorial Day. So, take a look and make sure to let us know what you’re doing May 28.

The Situation: Barbecue

(crop graphic american flag top, leather buckle satchel, threaded friendship bracelets, distressed frayed denim shorts, oversized dome ring, and microstud buckle booties)

Why it works:
Due to weather and the presence of a grill belching fire, you’ll undoubtedly be hot. The solution? Shorts and a cool patriotic tee. Plus, the vegan leather booties and satchel keep you looking polished, but not high-maintenance.

The Situation: Nightclub

(peplum two-fer dress, tiered chain necklace set, snakeskin ring handle clutch, faceted jewel ring, and colorblock heel-less platforms)

Why it works:
Bright color is a summer staple and this flirty two-fer dress definitely delivers. Plus, platforms and a snakeskin clutch mean you’ll be looking stylish, as well as be practical, while shaking your groove thang in the club.

The Situation: Beach

(tribal print tote bag, angular cat eye sunglasses, tie side monokini, skull and chain print scarf, and feather t-strap sandals)

Why it works:
Combining prints is hot and as such, the pairing of tribal and baroque is totally on trend. Additionally, the scarf functions as a great coverup if you decide to go grub on some tacos at a seaside restaurant or can even work in your hair as a modern turban.

What are your Memorial Day plans?
