How to: Apply Leopard Print Eyeshadow

True story: one of GoJane‘s kick ass stylists rocks leopard print eyeshadow almost every time she goes out. Sure, she occasionally mixes it up, but leopard eyeshadow is her thing. Why? Well, it looks pretty awesome, but the most important part happens to be all of the compliments (and free drinks).  Plus, she noted that this look would be a purrfect way to do your make-up for Halloween (maybe as a frisky feline or luxe leopard?). After hearing this, we knew we had to show you guys how to get the look.  If you wanna do this for the next time you’re feeling a bit catty, start reading.

You’ll need: eye primer, gold and brown eyeshadow*, eyeliner gel, and mascara
*we used a palette for this look, but you can use single pots of eyeshadow

Start with bare lids

Pat eye primer on both lids

Apply gold eyeshadow over entire lid

Add highlight color at eyebrow

Draw spots on lid with eyeliner gel

Apply small amount of gold eyeshadow to your lower lash line

Fill in spots with brown eyeshadow

Tip: Dip your applicator sponge or brush in water or contact lens solution before dipping it into your eyeshadow- getting your shadow wet will make the color more pigmented, as well as stay on longer

Draw a thin line at your lash line and flick up

Apply black eyeliner to lower lash line

Add two coats of mascara

Show off your peepers

Go ahead and try this out. By the way, make sure to let us know how it looks!
