If you’ve been paying attention to the GoJane site lately, you’ve probably noticed the influx of items bearing the ‘baroque’ moniker. This name may initially lead you to vaguely remember something about 17th century, European art, but our version doesn’t have anything to do with Peter Paul Rubens or Josefa de Óbidos. Instead, when we call something baroque, we mean that it has ornamental features, including chains, animal print, and cut-out medallions. Ultimately, our version is all about the luxe, as can be demonstrated when you look at some of the peplum tops, dresses, and sunglasses popping up on the site. However, if you aren’t sure of how to do baroque, keep reading ’cause we’re gonna show you three very different looks.(colorblock baroque maxi dress, textured oval necklace set, evil eye bead bracelet, abstract wooden bangle, skull and eye ring, and strappy velvet wedges) (baroque flare sunglasses, lace two-fer high-low dress, knotted engraved cross necklace, fuzzy leopard print inset bag, colorblock wedge, zigzag oval ring, and textured hand of fatima ring)
(zebra baroque peplum top, skull ring snake clutch, diamond cross clover earrings trio, tiered tulip skirt, and velvet platform pumps)
